Do you want to join a growing operation for one of the UK’s largest food manufacturers, that can offer great training & progression opportunities.
They are looking for an experience Process Team Manager, to manage the process operations team, looking at technical performance, cost effectiveness & efficiencies.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Responsible for a team of process operators, shift leaders, process technician & process engineers
*Ensure safety, quality and production targets are met
*The process area focuses on processing a raw food product, looking at product loss, energy into turbines, power, water usage, chemical consumptions & process yields
*Managing the utilities operations – steam raising and power generation
*Responsible for area hygiene standards and GMP audit performance
*Monitoring KPi’s, manage all aspects of process operations & improving performance
*Provide training, support, development plans and appraisals for team members
*Manage all technical aspects of SHEQ in line with company procedures and targets
*Measure performance for safe operations – zero accidents, compliance, zero food safety issues etc.
*Partake in continuous & process improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Be a technically qualified person – engineering, chemical engineering
*Must have come from a chemical / processing background
*Ability to manage safety, hygiene, environmental & quality
*Good understanding of raw material processing principles or utilities operations
*Knowledge of cost savings, energy & water usage, process yields and chemical consumptions
*Strong people skills – good communication, and man-management skills
*Proven leader – able to motivate, set clear goals, standards and company expectations
*Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
*Knowledge of environmental impact/compliance
*Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment is essential
*Good planning & prioritisation skills
Shifts & Benefits Package:
*Salary:- £55,000-£60,000 + 10% Bonus
