NPI Project Manager
A leading Automotive manufacturer in South Wales, this company requires an experienced Project Manager to lead major projects for key customers. These roles are to support all New Product Introduction activities for a range of new product lines.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Full accountability for managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
*Manage product design and development
*Coordinate PFMEA/DFMEA & planning documentation
*Effectively manage key customer/client relationships to ensure an efficient NPI process for both parties and expectations are met
*Manage projects from initiation through to post-delivery
*Prepare and maintain timing plans
*Work with suppliers to ensure adherence to plans
*Control and manage all budgets
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Strong Project Management experience
*Previous experience working with OEMs is beneficial
*Excellent understanding of NPI, Continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles
*Experience within a high volume automotive environment
*Ability to control and manage budgets
*Travel opportunities to customers and suppliers
