Renowned for being one of Wales’ leading manufacturers, this innovative supplier of electronic / mechanical assemblies has become the supplier of choice for many of the UK’s leading businesses. They offer a full product service for their customer base, from manufacturing capability, product testing and repair. 2017 was their most successful year on record and 2018 saw them recruit an extra 15 permanent staff to support their growth plans. This newly created role would suit an engineer who has a thirst for knowledge and is interested in taking on more responsibility within a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

o Co-ordinate new product introduction activities on a project by project basis.
o Responsible for closely monitoring the planning and control of all current NPI projects.
o Provide technical assistance, progress chasing, technical review meetings, NPI review and close out activities.
o Co-ordinate and run Technical review meetings where the product to be built is studied, build process maps and risk assessments are discussed and reported.
o Continuous improvement of the NPI process.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

o Ideally HNC Qualified in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
o Strong NPI experience
o Experienced in the manufacture and build of electro - mechanical assemblies
