MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
(FMCG MANUFACTURING BUSINESS)
Salary open depending on experience + O/T + Benefits
Monday to Friday – 7.30am to 4.30pm (12.30 Finish Friday)
Due to significant investment in new machinery and lines, my client, a Market leading manufacturing company is seeking to bolster its Design team with the addition of a Mechanical Design Engineer. Manufacturing an array of products from their site they supply into major markets across the globe. This opportunity offers great security and stability for the right candidate. With progressive training and development these roles also allow promotion in the longer term, whilst being supported by a friendly and welcoming team.
Role & Responsibilities
*Concept through to production design of Mechanical Parts & Machinery
*Utilisation of SolidWorks and AutoCAD CAD systems
*Both 2D & 3D CAD design of company machinery
*Improvement work in relation to current designs and customer requirements
*Working within a team of mechanical/project engineers
Required Skills & Experience
*Recognised Mechanical engineering qualifications, i.e. HNC/HND or City and Guilds in an engineering related field
*CAD knowledge – SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or Pro engineer
*Design of Automated/Mechanical Systems
*Conceptual through to production design experience
*Ability to work within a team environment
