FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (MECHANICALLY BIASED)

SHROPSHIRE

Monday – Friday – Days

£35,000 Basic Salary / OTE c£40,000 – £45,000 with overtime + Van + Benefits.

Owing to a strong order book and future growth projections, a Market leading niche machinery supplier has a requirement for a technically minded, Mechanically Biased Field Service Engineer to join their established team.

This opportunity offers the chance to be involved in all aspects of Service and Repair on their fast paced, highly automated production line machinery within a variety of manufacturing / process environments. This role will appeal to a ‘hands on’, Mechanically Biased Engineer who is looking for a broad role and is happy to travel on a UK wide basis. This position involves 1-2 days on average per week away from home.

Role Description
*Servicing and Maintenance of automated machinery and equipment on a UK wide basis.
*Fault finding and diagnostics of systems and equipment.
*Installation of machinery on customer premises.
*Provision of training to customers in safe machinery operation.
*On-site technical assistance.
*Reporting into the Field Service Engineering Manager

Skills and Qualifications
*Mechanical Maintenance / Service Engineering experience.
*Ability to fault find on both Mechanical and Electrical Faults.
*Manufacturing industry experience – FMCG / Food / Automotive / Plastics / Packaging / Heavy Industrial / RAF / NAVY / REME
*Ability to liaise with customers / clients on site.
*Willingness to travel on a UK wide basis.
