Our client is a leading livestock processing, production & packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading UK standards.
Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to come onboard and lead all factory, process, production & packaging operations.

Role & Responsibilities:

*Will be responsible for the smooth running of all the factory / site operation
*Reporting to and working closely daily with the Managing Director
*Ensure that the flow of production is maximised, to high quality standards & processes
*Be a part of the senior management team, deliver on strategic projects and drive business growth
*Implement strategic plans to develop new processes & procedures
*Flexible to working hours – be available to work across additional hours to support the business at peak times of the year, sometimes across different shift patterns.
*Ensure production is cost effective, on time, of quality and to the highest standards
*Identify areas of training & employee development needs
*Monitor product standards & implement quality control programmes
*Make sure that the factory is managed effectively, efficiently & meeting targets/KPi’s
*Manage all site health & safety, food hygiene standards & quality control

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*Must have proven experience of working in poultry manufacturing
*Previously have worked in senior management / general or factory management levels
*A result driven person that is all about overachieving and hitting milestones
*Must be a flexible character to working hours – be available during busy peak periods, sometimes working outside of the normal day hours with some weekends
*Operational & commercial awareness of supplying into major supermarket customers
*Strong leadership skills & character
*Good interpersonal and communication skills
*Happy to take direct instruction day-to-day from an MD and implement throughout the operation
*Proven results experience with KPi’s, developing teams & overall operational excellence
*Able bring in new ideas and work well under pressure
*Must be reliable, tolerant and have a determined nature
*Have relevant Health & Safety (NEBOSH), Food Hygiene Standards qualifications/certificates

Shifts & Benefits Package:

*Salary:- £60,000 – £70,000
*Benefits:- Private Pension, Life Assurance, 20 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays
