** New Role** Application Analyst/Architect – £55K-£60K – Remote Working

I am seeking an Application Analyst/Architect to work for a well known and rapidly expanding organisation. The role will be fully remote with occasional travel to site required as part of the day to day responsibilities.

The successful Application Analyst/Architect will have a number of responsibilities that will evolve as the role develops. Initially, your role will be to take on a a re-write and adaptation of the company’s online HR System. You will undertake a thorough review of the system, engaging with stakeholders and the wider business to get a clear view of how each part of the system is used and what the functionality is. You will also oversee a number of systems integrations, bringing the holiday planning, payroll and associated systems and online apps together with the existing HR system to improve functionality and efficiency across the whole business.

You will make recommendations as to which systems can be integrated, and where necessary you will liaise with the development team to facilitate the development of new applications which will work with to improve the HR system across the business. You will work alongside a team of Architects and have a great deal of technical responsibility within the role.

The right person for this role will possess experience in many of the following areas:

– Previous experience in the software development lifecycle, remaining close to technology You will have knowledge in 3 or more of the following areas:
Cloud based technologies around SaaS, PaaS and IaaS offerings, IIS, ERP/CRM architectures,
Business Intelligence (e.g. Business Objects), databases, interface design, virtualization and cloud, enterprise systems management

– Experience with Enterprise Architecture or IT Service Management processes, frameworks, and methodologies

– Ideally you will have experience of working with online HR systems

– Able to deliver results working as part of a team in a collaborative and supportive manner

– Experience in addressing business and technical stakeholder requirements and translating these to appropriate solution architectures

The right Application Analyst/Architect for this role may have some experience of working as a technical Business Analyst, and you could have worked in application support earlier in your career as this would give you a grounding in the technical skills required in this role. Alternatively, you may be an Application Architect currently and looking to move into a new role. You will be a strong communicator who will be capable of becoming a key part of the IT community in a fantastic, supportive organisation.
