A leading worldwide supplier, this company has a reputation for excellence. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Buyer for a 12 month fixed-term contract.
Role & Responsibilities:
o Purchasing raw materials, consumables and packaging
o Focus on reducing cost and adding value
o Vendor rating and supplier performance activities
o Manage and develop supplier relationships
o Material scheduling activities
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
o Ideally CIPS qualified
o Experience of purchasing for a manufacturing organisation
o Strong IT skills
o Excellent negotiation skills
