An award winning electronics manufacturer in South Wales is currently looking to strengthen its product development department with the key acquisition of a Hardware Design Engineer. The successful candidate will be joining a team of advanced development engineers pioneering the latest designs of hi-tech electrical/electronic equipment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new high (>1kV) and low voltage analogue circuit designs
• Redesign and improvements to existing hardware to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• PCB design & layout
• FMEA documentation
• Management of external EMC testing

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

o Ideally degree qualified in Electronic Engineering
o Must have knowledge and/ or experience of analogue circuit design
o Power Electronics or SMPS design would be beneficial
